Behaviour pattern

The behaviour of biological systems can be characterized by changes of quasi stationary states (i.e. awake – sleep stages) including transition states. A quasi stationary state is a complex state, which is defined by regulation states of different biological parameters. It is possible to distinguish between basic states, extreme states and mixed states (mixture of the two or more states). Behaviour pattern can be described by composition of physiologic and psychological basis and mixed states. Physiologic basic states are movement patterns like standing, sitting, lying, running a.o. Psychological basic states are well-being, sadness, joy and anger. The mixed states display states inclosing parts of basic states (i.e. anxiety, nervousness, restlessness…).
