Blood pressure relaxation test

goal: Proof of ability to relaxach

Blood pressure is a sensitive indicator of changes in the emotional processes. During the Blood Pressure Relaxation Test (BRT), the person is requested to sit down in a fauteuil with a foot rest, to slacken his muscles and to relax for ten minutes, all the while consciously being aware of his breathing.  During that time, the blood pressure and pulse rate are measured every minute. Usually, the "blood pressure value at rest" (in terms of systolic blood pressure) is reached by the 7 th to 8 th minute. The measured value will be recorded and saved in the CRD-BRT evaluation software.

Results:

- process of the systolic and diastolic blood pressure (measurement values and normalized values)
- trend of the pulse rate  (measurement values and normalized values)
- statistic data (aver. value, rest value, difference in case of relaxation, BRT-grade)
- classification by tony-type und cardiac-type

Data output: ASCII-File

Requirements
Hardware:
Blood Pressure Monitor (with a switchable tone or without sound )

Software:
CRD_BRT, Windows XP..Windows10
